The Patriotic Star and Uncle Sam Hat are made from 3/4” premium pine. They stand 5” tall. I use my scroll saw to cut out the shapes and then I sand them smooth. I use red and blue stain and white paint to hand paint them on both sides . The stain allows the natural grain of the wood to show through. I then use matte acrylic spray to top coat the Star and the Hat, giving it a gentle sheen and lasting durability.
