Our cutting boards are made from local hardwood trees (Walnut, Maple, Cherry) that had to be cut down. We retrieved the wood, milled it and let it air dry. We then milled it again before hand selecting the pieces for our cutting boards. Sometimes we will add wood that has been kiln dried by a local mill.
-All cutting boards have unique characteristics, no two are alike.
-Our cutting boards are finished with a food grade mineral oil/bees wax finish..
